Rapture.

It's a word we've all been hearing about for days, weeks, months. Rapture is supposed to be the beginning of the end of the world. But really, it just makes me think of the old Blondie disco tune of the same name.

However, I am going to redefine rapture to suit our lives. Rapture is defined as ecstatic joy or delight...and I sure like that better than the end of the world.

As it is the long Victoria Day weekend, and it is a HOT one outside (FINALLY!), it seemed like just a given to drag the little whale pool out of its forever-and-a-day long slumber in the basement, and take a dip. But boy, oh boy was that water shockingly icy, as water from a hose always seems to be. This was how Maisie felt about it:

The scrape on her chin is from her scratching herself with her mile long talons! Poor little ragamuffin.
But eventually it wasn't so bad...you kinda got used to it, but ended up with popsicle toes that lasted for hours...in fact, my toes are still chilly!

I need a pedi.
This picture just IS "rapture"...the way I am choosing to define it :)

Hope your weekend is filled with rapturous moments, that have nothing to do with the world ending.
