Single Parenting Day 2 - Rain, Costco & Tempers

Well, we made it through Single Parenting Day 1, and we're halfway through Single Parenting Day 2, so I'm sure we're going to survive. Yesterday, she had a beautiful nap (as did I!), and I was so thankful. Then we went out for burgers with Nana & Papa, and some Coldstone Creamery deliciousness. Then add onto that bath time, milk, books and then BEDTIME! She was a very good girl yesterday. After she was in bed, I managed to catch up on some scrapbooking, and I sent some pictures to Costco so I can do more tonight as well. It helps curb the loneliness. Not that I'm necessarily lonely...in fact the peace and quiet in the evenings has been rejuvenating.

It's raining today, and has gotten pretty chilly so we did my workout, then headed off to Costco to get my pictures, pick up some Veggie Straws (if you haven't had them yet, RUN, don't walk, to Costco and GET SOME NOW!!). I ended up finding a little $7 Thomas the Tank Engine Busy Book that has an activity mat and a bunch of little trains!

It's quite cute, and I thought it would be a good time killer. But she played with it for a few minutes and walked away...oh well.
She's quite temper tantrum-y today, which isn't the best. I'm hoping this leads to another amazing nap. I could use the time to myself, that's for sure.

Mike seems to be having fun at his conference, and his hotel is amazing. He picks up his Rent-a-Goldfish tonight, and I love it!

Spaghetti for dinner...and then...I have no idea what. I will make it through this day, I will make it through this day, I will make it...................
